Lost paths
In the wake of a storm
Some paths are lost
Banks will burst
And boats are tossed
The ebb and flow
The ripple and tug
We cling to each other
And hope it’s enough
It took me so long to realise
Too late to be wise
There are other days
And different skies
With the dawn comes the calm…
